Ignored file list - how do I get them synced and un-ignored?

The Not Synced list is 34 files, and I think they are there because ownCloud sees the files with $ signs in the file names or addresses.

I use all of these files, and in the file addresses or names there are no $ when I look in File Explorer.
What can I do?

Thanks for the link, but it does not help me synchronise those files. And even after reading the article, I am not at all sure why those files are on the ignored list of what ownCloud cannot see anyway.
So I dont feel any further forward.

Are you saying that once a file is on the ignored list, it can never come off that list?

Thank you. Read the article and this is much more interesting.
Having had a look at my Ignored File list, it would appear that it’s a $ sign causing all the problems.

Having clicked on each of the ignored files, I can confirm that there are no $ signs in any of the files names or extensions.

So my thinking is that if I have had any documents open when I have synced ownCloud, they would appear with a $ as Windows opens up a temporary file whenever a file is open. Maybe its these temporary files ownCloud is trying to copy as they are open when I have done the sync.

Is this possible?

Very possible. I think owncloud ignores this files because they are, as you said, temporary files, so no need synching them.

OK, so makes sense to both of us.
The important thing, if we are right, is that if all these files are closed when I sync, then the files will be copied to ownCloud, and all is well.
