Incorrect file extension (downloading as "download.php") in Safari

Hello. When downloading files or directories in downloads, the file name is always “download.php”. This problem occurs only in the Safari browser, in other browsers everything is fine. Please help to solve this problem, thanks in advance

Hi Elias,

I think there was some iOS issue, which was fixed in oc 10.9 (IIRC). Test the download behaviour on https://demo.owncloud.com - if the issue doesn’t appear there, you should upgrade your ownCloud.

If this issue is reproducible on the demo server as well I’d suggest to open an issue ticket at Issues · owncloud/core · GitHub
