I thought it would be an awesome feature if you could see values of sensors in the owncloud (e.g. room temperature).
Something like thingspeak but on your own cloud.
Maybe even support for a webcam or control of motors all inside the owncloud interface (as an addon).
As I have owncloud on my raspberry pi the sensors would be easy to add.
