Is there an issue with passwords an the android app?

Actual behaviour

If i set the password on my owncloud on pc to for example 123abc i'm able to log in in the app.
If i change that password to lets say TH\"p5wX@5xz''L[ i can't log in on the app.

Any ideas or suggestions ??

Expected behaviour

I should be able to log in on the app as this works if i try the password (TH\"p5wX@5xz''L[) in windows using FF.

Steps to reproduce

Create a new user in owncloud
set password to 123abc - able to log in on the pc and on the app
Change the password to "TH\"p5wX@5xz''L[" in owncload (pc) and reset the app
Password works on the pc and i've been able to log in without any issues.
Reset the app / Set up new creds with the above password however it doesn't allow me to log in.

Is there a setting in owncloud that controls password requirements / special characters ??

Can this problem be reproduced with the official owncloud server?

No, the password you set is correct and you should be able to login in the app. I have set the same one and i am able. Which server version are you using?
