Latest Update cause 100% CPU consumption

ownCloud 5.3.1.14018 f15fd5
Libraries Qt 6.4.3, OpenSSL 3.1.2 1 Aug 2023
Using virtual files plugin: suffix
OS: macos-23.5.0
QPA: cocoa

Expected behaviour

The owncloud client should not consume 100% CPU performance.

Actual behaviour

Since the last update, owncloud consume >100% CPU performance on my MacBook Pro M1 Max with Sonoma 14.5. It’s quite difficult to work for the desktop client as the application reatcts very slowly.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Update to version 5.3.1.14018 (f15fd5).
  2. Open owncloud client.
  3. owncloud client consume 100% CPU performance.

Having that CPU fan whirring constantly is no fun. Hopefully someone familiar with the client-development side can chime in with a fix. In the meantime, maybe downgrading the client temporarily might be an option?
