Symptom
The E-Mail Addresses from the LDAP (AD) Server are not synced to owncloud.
Environment
owncloud 10.x
Steps to reproduce
- Configure ownlcoud to connect to your AD server https://doc.owncloud.com/server/admin_manual/configuration/user/user_auth_ldap.html
- Go to the users list from the webUI
- Notice that the user’s email addresses are missing
Cause
The user’s email field is not set from the advanced settings.
Solution/Workaround
In order to sync the E-mail Address from your AD server to your ownCloud, you set the user’s Email field from the advanced settings.
After that you have to run the occ user:sync
command to synchronise the users.
