We are running Oc 9.0 and trying to link an external storage (Dropbox Business) account to a user group. Unless I am misunderstanding, I would think that linking any external storage would be just that -- linking external storage and thus not using local disk space of our Oc server. However it looks like linked external storage is syncing a local copy of that storage to the Oc server.
External storage data is syncing to the /var/www/owncloud/data directory
Is there a way to stop this from happening? It is filling up the disk space on our Oc server which is why we elected to link a Dropbox Business account for storage.
