Mapping SMB shares - wildcard folder name based on user ID

Please help us by providing the following info. Before posting please also check the pinned "Known issues" threads and make sure that you're running the latest available version for your oC release:

Steps to reproduce
1. set up oc 9.1
2. enable external storage support
3. add a SMB network share with a path: smb://server.domain/folder$/%username%

Expected behaviour
Tell us what should happen

The %username% wildcard is a Windows-speak, and means that the Windows user ID will be placed here. This then results in each user getting logged into a folder reserved for them.
Please can someone advise me of the OwnCloud wildcards which I can use to achieve the same thing?

Actual behaviour
Tell us what happens instead

Folder does not map because the user ID is not swapped out

There is no info available there that this is supported.

I agree with you, thanks for the help.

Are there any options to move forward with this type of functionality?
