Menu options missing from main web page in oc 9.1

Hello .. .I am running OC 9.1 on ubuntu 16.04 and there are only three menu option available (All FIles, favourites and Tags). All of the sharing menu options are missing. I checked out the demo on the OC main site and all of the menu options are shown. Please see attached image.

Please help.

This items are missing if you have:

  • Disabled "Allow apps to use the Share API" within your admin backend
  • Disabled the "Share Files" App
