We’re currently using ownCloud with a local storage system, which already got 1TB disk. We know that the most scalable option is S3, due to a couple reasons, and so we decided to migrate to that file system.
The problem is: how to migrate from local storage to s3 compatible (Ceph), as primary file system? How can we transfer all our files in safe, since it’s not that easy as just upload our files to S3, as it used “urn:oid:” names for files?
We’ve just tried to install an fresh owncloud and add old one as an external storage, so we was able to copy and paste at new installation, but all the proccess takes so much time and with a huge number of timeouts and fails. Is there any optimal option to?
