Migrating data from 9.1 to 10.0

Hello Folks,

I am upgrading my ubuntu server to a new hardware with a clean install. On my old/operating machine, I have owncloud 9.1 and I have installed owncloud 10 on the new machine.

I cannot migrate the normal way (maintenance mode, db dump, …), right?

Instead, what would happen if, during my owncloud 10 install, I just point my data folder to my owncloud 9.1 data folder?

What other alternative do I have?

The best thing to do would be to get both ownCloud instances on the same version and then do a backup and restore (documented here).
