Newbie needs help with owncloud that doesn't see my files on HDD

Hello there!

i have a small problem wich i can’t solve.

I just installed owncloud on my raspberry pi and i got it to work, i can upload download files etc…
now the problem is there were already files in the harddrive before i installed owncloud, but owcloud doesn’t" see "the files. is there a way to get owncloud see the files ?

You should see all the files below owncloud-dir/data//files/.

If this is not the case, you can run the command below (from within owncloud-dir), something like

sudo -u www-data php occ files:scan --all
