No email Notifications

I have installed OC 10.1.10 in AWS w/Debian thru bitnami. I am using SMPT and it works fine sending the email test. I set users to send email notifications in any event but the emails never are sent.
For example when I share a file with another user I suppose this user will receive an email notification but he does not.

Please advise what to do

Hey,

i think there are various things you could check like:

  • is the used background job set “cron” for reliable e-mail notifications
  • the receiving user having its own e-mail registered in the personal settings
  • correct notifications settings of the receiving user
  • is the notifications app enabled at all
