No Marketplace Connection - cURL error 60

I have upgraded to the latest version of owncloud, however I am experiencing problems connecting to the marketplace. I am receiving cURL error 60.

Everywhere online tells you to download cacert.pem and then to do url.cainfo = “certificate path\cacert.pem” in the php.ini file. However this has not worked for me.

Along with this, on the warnings page, I’m getting no internet connection on this server, even though there is. Could these two issues be linked?

It seems you have problems with the SSL certificate the marketplace is using. Try to connect from the host where ownCloud is via curl, without involving ownCloud. Furthermore, try to check with different https urls and see if you can connect to them.

As far as I know, the marketplace’s SSL certificate should be recognized by default without touching anything in the server.
