oAuth2 + 2FA and Remembering Devices

Something I and many of my family members and colleagues have gotten used to is using 2FA, but where the service remembers the device you’ve authenticated on, either for a period of time or until you’ve logged out on that device. Ive added 2FA and oAuth2 to our owncloud server but it seems to ask for a new authentication every time you open the app or browser. It’s super annoying. Are there any other 2FA apps that remember the device (app or browser), so that re-authentication is not so frequent?

No, you will have to implement an IdP (Identity Provider) using OIDC (Open ID Connect), which provides 2FA and has this kind of configuration option.
