Out of base uri remote.php/dav/ error in OC client

Dear OC Community,

a few weeks ago a user reported problems using the OC client. After reinstalling and resyncing the files we thought the problem was gone but unfortunately it was not solved.
Some days ago the user opened another call stating the problem was back. A few files within a folder (not shared) would not be uploaded/synced again.
Today another user (we have about 150 active users using the client) reported problems with the client too. Same error message and problem: A few files in a folder do not get uploaded. Almost the same name like the other files in that folder. Same type of file (pdf)…

Can you help us to fix this? We don’t know what to do.

Expected behaviour

File should be uploaded as all other files in that folder

Actual behaviour

Files are not uploaded and the client shows one error per file that is not uploaded "out of base uri (remote.php/dav/)

Steps to reproduce

Upload the files that are problematic again in a different folder

Server configuration

Operating system: Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS
Web server: Apache 2.4.18
Database: mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.7.24
PHP version: 7.0.32
ownCloud version: 10.0.10

Client configuration

Client version: 2.5.0
Operating system: Win 10 Pro x64 (up to date)
OS language: DE
Installation path of client: default

Can you update to 2.5.1?

For now it seems that the problem is solved :open_mouth:

After I updated the second users client yesterday the user got this problem today again.

on your client or on the second user’s client?

its not my client. I am the admin. it is the user’s client. Why would it matter if it is the first or second user? Updated the client to 2.5.1 - error happens again.
