Owncloud 10.0.0.4 Session Timeout

I have installed OwnCloud 10.0.0.4 and have had trouble implementing a 10 minute session time-out which is required by our security officer.

It seems not working for the session time out. Is there any way to config the session timeout when user idle 10mins? thanks!

As long as the browser window is open a heartbeat is sent to the server which is refreshing the session.

The session timeout at ownCloud only kicks in if no browser window is kept open.

This is not possible as far as I'm aware of

The session timeout is not the problem.

What is happening normally is that you have activated the notifications, that refresh the timeout again.

Try to turn off the notifications and see if it works :wink:
