ownCloud 3.7.2 for iPad cannot preview Office documents

Steps to reproduce

  1. With ownCloud 3.6.2: select a Word or Excel document and preview is showed.
  2. With ownCloud 3.7.2: select a Word or Excel document. The progress bar runs but only an icon is showed, not the document preview. PDF or images are showed fine.

Expected behaviour

Preview of Word or Excel documents showed in right panel.

Actual behaviour

Preview of Word or Excel documents are not showed in right panel. It shows only an icon.

Server configuration

Web server: Apache/2.4.6 (CentOS)

Database: MySQL Distrib 5.6.10

PHP version: 5.4.16

ownCloud version: 8.2.8 (stable)

Storage backend (external storage): NAS Nfs

Client

iOS version: 11.2.1 and 11.0.2

ownCloud app version: 3.7.2

Device model: iPad A1475

We would like to implement 2 more fixes in the release. That's why we can't give an exact date.
But, we're on the home stretch.
