ownCloud 9.1.x - Raspberry pi 3b crash on upload from mobile

Hello guys,

I finished installing ownCloud on my raspberry pi 3b. I used this link for instructions: https://pimylifeup.com/raspberry-pi-owncloud/ .
My OS is "Raspbian GNU/Linux 8 (jessie)", and i mounted a 3TB external hard drive to the PI.

Everything seemed to work fine. Upload/download works when i use my computer to access the cloud.

But when i try to upload something from the mobile app (I use the android version),
my raspberry pi crashes and becomes unresponsive. I cannot access it via SSH (using Putty). The only way to gain access is to pull the power and plug it back in.

This is very strange to me, because when i try to upload the same file from my computer, it works.

Can anyone help ?

Check your logfiles on the pi if there is anythings just before the crash. And/or connect a screen to see if there is any error shown. Could be a hardware problem (sd-card?) because normally the computer shouldn't completely crash.
