Owncloud 9: nginx-cache-purge + Memory Caching

Hi,

i just installed owncloud 9 with php7 + nginx + mariadb.
I configured memory caching with apcu. It works.
But i wonder if i had to configure nginx cache purge too.
What would be the interest ?
Maybe i don’t understand its goal.
