OwnCloud and Windows Share?

Hello Community,

I am very new to OwnCloud and have recently just set it up on a Ubuntu Server and everything has gone well so far however I am needing to transfer large files quickly through Windows File Explorer and I am wanting to map my OwnCloud server as a network drive but im not sure how I would go about doing this? I have tried using the WebDAV link in settings however that didn’t so could anyone tell me what I need to do?

I’ve had no luck with WebDAV drives in Windows.

Install ownCloud client, then either drop the files into the sync folder or ‘Add Folder Sync Connection’ in the client. That is how I usually go about this on our server.

According my experience: Mapping as a network drive might be problematic, but as a so called web-folder it is works quite well.
