Please help us by providing the following info. Before posting please make sure that you’re running the latest available version for your oC release: Changelog - ownCloud + https://owncloud.org/changelog/desktop/
Steps to reproduce
- Install OwnCloud client Windows
- Attempt to sync > 300,000 - 900,000 files
Expected behaviour
Tell us what should happen
The file sync should complete normally albeit completion time dependant on number of files as well as total data size downloaded/uploaded
Actual behaviour
Tell us what happens instead
For filecounts > approximately 400,000, the sync client crashes with messages from Visual C++.
The similar version of ownCloud sync client for 64-bit Ubuntu appears to work fine for > 1 million files (about 50TB data)
However, the similar version of the ownCloud sync client for 32-bit Ubuntu has similar problems as the Windows client.
I suspect that the 32-bit clients will crash for > ~ 300,000 files
