ownCloud client not opening virtual files

I have an owncloud client on a MacOS synchronizing with virtual files. The problem is that some of the files on the server cannot be opened, such as PDF or XML files.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

@aio this is very little information. Please describe the exact steps to reproduce.
