Save the Date: We are hosting a virtual conference on September 27th and 28th, 2021! Make sure to register and block the date in your calendar to find out more about ownCloud Infinite Scale and our other current projects. Once we have the full agenda ready, we will share it with you.
In case you would like to speak at our conference, check out the topics outlined below. We look forward to receiving your session proposal!
Call for papers
This year is a crazy one, just like 2020. Nevertheless, we have decided to hold our annual conference again, of course in virtual fashion. We hyped about our recent developments at ownCloud, and we want to share our excitement with you. The conference will take place on the 27th and 28th of September.
We want to invite you to submit the topic you want to speak about or to propose a session. Don’t fret, a short abstract with main points is enough. Each talk is scheduled to take roughly 20 to 30 minutes. We are seeking submissions related to the following conference topics:
ownCloud Infinite Scale
Our upcoming and cloud-native platform is making great progress. Since the beginning of the year we have been releasing Tech Previews on a regular basis. The conference will feature tech talks about the technologies, concepts and their implementation. We also welcome submissions about the Go language ecosystem, cloud-native apps and microservices. There will be space to share first-hand experiences about your ownCloud Infinite Scale setups and deployments.
Clients and Integrations
The new ownCloud Web and our mobile and desktop apps are state-of-the-art interfaces for our server platforms. At the conference, we will present the latest ideas and upcoming implementations. Submissions about integrations and extensions around all clients, including ownCloud Web, fit this track.
Here, partners and associated projects can present their latest activities in the ecosystem. Also, interesting projects based on the ownCloud platforms would fit this track.
If you want to participate with a presentation, please upload your submission here before Sep 3, 2021. A short abstract with main points is enough. Make sure to include contact data. Given the short notice, the rules around contributions are not too strict. Just speak up and we will see how we can arrange things. Each talk is scheduled to take roughly 20 to 30 minutes. Please let us know if you think you need more time.
One week after the Call for Papers deadline, we will announce the conference program and inform the speakers.
If you have questions, please contact the organizing team at firstname.lastname@example.org!
