So far, we have used the LDAP integration on a Windows server to authenticate the users. This has worked perfectly so far.
Now smartcards are to be used for authentication with the Active Directory. We have tested this on a test system and found that the login to ownCloud via LDAP integration fails as soon as the login with smartcard is activated for a user.
I’m not asking why this is - that’s obvious - I’m asking if there is a real solution or workaround? Is it perhaps possible to instruct Windows Server to dispense with smartcard login in special situations and allow the password?
