ownCloud Mac Desktop Client broken

Hello,
in the current version, the Mac desktop client login is broken. Many users I know have the same issue. Users who do not logout are not affected until they need to re-login.
In the login dialog, the user name field is filled with a cryptic string, greyed out and not editable. I can type in the password, but due to the unknown username this of course is not successful.
I was told that the issue is known, but is there a date when a fix will be available?

Hi, I just updated to 4.10 but the issue remains the same: cryptic user name, not editable.
