Owncloud Server Appliance installing external SSL

Hello All,

I downloand and configured the owncloud appliance which appeared to just be a prebaked Univention Corporate Server. I then had to download and install the owncloud app from the app store to the appliance.

After getting it configured, we purchased a GoDaddy SSL certificate to install, but no matter where we install it, it seems to get overwritten by the self-signed Univention UCS certificate.

Would anyone be able to point us in the right direction as to where the configuration files are to be modified so that they do not keep getting overridden?

Would I replace the UCS self-signed certificate with my purchased one, or is there a different conf file to be edited?

Thank You in Advance,

Larry Wienner

I did a short search https://www.google.com/search?q=ucs+univention+self+certificate and the first hit seems to be exactly what you're looking for: https://help.univention.com/t/owncloud-on-seperate-certificate/6541

Thanks Tom! That's exactly what we wound up doing. I found that page after posting, but wanted to see if it was in fact the recommended way and It seems to have worked. We just entered the certificate path in the mentioned UCS registry keys.

Thanks for the assist.
