Owncloud shows no Update

Steps to reproduce

  1. Use Owncloud 9.1.1
  2. Look for updates and see there are plenty newer versions
  3. See no update notification by update app

Expected behaviour

The update app (activated) should tell me there are newer version, and give me the option to update my installation

Actual behaviour

The update app does not tell me there's a new update.
Even "apt-get upgrade && apt-get install owncloud" tells me I'm using the newest version.

Server configuration

Operating system: Ubuntu 14.04

Web server: Apache

Database: MySQL

ownCloud version: (see ownCloud admin page) 9.1.1

Updated from an older ownCloud or fresh install: Fresh

Where did you install ownCloud from: Official repositories

Signing status (ownCloud 9.0 and above):

Login as admin user into your ownCloud and access 
http://example.com/index.php/settings/integrity/failed 
paste the results into https://gist.github.com/ and puth the link here.

No errors have been found.

List of activated apps:
Just the standard ones + "Documents".

what is the repository name that you installed owncloud from?

it's in your sources list

Okay, 14.04 is not supported anymore, please consider upgrading to 16.04 or greater.

If you don't want to upgrade - you can use the tar ball or 16.04 repos

Ahhh okay.

Nah, it's cool. The server's only purpose is to host the cloud, so if I have to reinstall it anyways to get the newer version of OC, I'm gonna go for a new installation on 16.04.
