Owncloud stops working once a week or even more

Hi All,

I have a problem that once a week or more I get an error 500 when i browse my published owncloud site, or the following error in the client “No Connection to owncloud at owncloud.domain.com/owncloud. Error downloading owncloud.domain.com/owncloud/status.php - server replied: internal server error”. I ams still able to connect with putty to the server.

If I try to restart the server I get the following error during restart. “”

Steps to reproduce
Cant reproduce, it happens once a week or even more. To resolve the issue I boot from A ubuntu ISO to try Ubuntu and run the following command “sudo fsck /dev/sda1”. Afther that I boot from the normal VHD and Owncloud is up again.

Expected behaviour
Owncloud should keep running

Actual behaviour
owncloud Stops once a week.

Server configuration
Operating system: Ubuntu 14.04
Web server: Apache
Database: mysql 14.14
PHP version: 5.5.9
ownCloud version (see ownCloud admin page): 9.1.0 (stable)
Updated from an older ownCloud or fresh install: Fresh install
Special configuration (external storage, external authentication, reverse proxy, server-side-encryption):
Server is running as a VM in a an Hyper-v setup. Single VM with one VHD file

ownCloud log (data/owncloud.log)
How can I get the log of the system?

This looks rather like a problem with your server or with apache… the folks at the apache forums probably can help better than the people here, I’d suggest you ask there, too :slight_smile:

What is the system error you get on boot? It’s not included in the quotes.
Could that be an HDD issue with your machine? What O/S are you running the image from ?

Not exactly sure, it’s running now when it stops working again I will update it with error.

I don’t think it’s an hdd issue I have multiple VM’s running on the same host that all don’t have issues. The host that owncloud is running on is an Microsoft server 2012 R2 datacenter.
