ownCloud sync from samba share

Hello,
We have a samba server share.
Some user’s computers are mapped that share as a drive (e.g. K:) and upload files via that drive.
We installed ownCloud (10.15.0.2) on a separate server and setup external storage.
When someone uploads a file via the ownCloud web interface, it will immediately appear on the samba server and for all other ownCloud users. It’s perfect!
But.
When someone uploads a file via mapped drive, it only appear in ownCloud share when uploading users logs in to the ownCloud web interface.

How can I solve, that sync happen immediately when a file changes on the samba server?

Thanks for any help.

This is only possible with the ownCloud Enterprise Edition. Such a system is rather complex and recommendation would be to move away from files based storage. Going forward with ownCloud Infinite Scale it is thinkable that collaborative storage with SMB could be introduced but currently planned only for GPFS and CephFS. Where then SMB could be used as one way to use that setup.
