Owncloud - upgrade failed 8 => 10 no column with name 'object_id' on table 'oc_activity

Hi,
when I do an Owncloud Upgrade from 8.2.11 to latest Owncloud version (>10) I have this error:

Doctrine\DBAL\Schema\SchemaException: There is no column with name ‘object_id’ on table ‘oc_activity’

I find some tips on Github ( Missing migrations when upgrading from 8.2.11 to 10.0.10 #652) but you haven’t any fix?
Thanks
Seta

Server configuration

Operating system:

Web server:

Database:

PHP version:

ownCloud version: (see ownCloud admin page)

Updated from an older ownCloud or fresh install:

Where did you install ownCloud from:

Signing status (ownCloud 9.0 and above):

Login as admin user into your ownCloud and access
http://example.com/index.php/settings/integrity/failed
paste the results into https://gist.github.com/ and puth the link here.

The content of config/config.php:

Log in to the web-UI with an administrator account and click on
'admin' -> 'Generate Config Report' -> 'Download ownCloud config report'
This report includes the config.php settings, the list of activated apps
and other details in a well sanitized form.

or

If you have access to your command line run e.g.:
sudo -u www-data php occ config:list system
from within your ownCloud installation folder

*ATTENTION:* Do not post your config.php file in public as is. Please use one of the above
methods whenever possible. Both, the generated reports from the web-ui and from occ config:list
consistently remove sensitive data. You still may want to review the report before sending.
If done manually then it is critical for your own privacy to dilligently
remove *all* host names, passwords, usernames, salts and other credentials before posting.
You should assume that attackers find such information and will use them against your systems.

List of activated apps:

If you have access to your command line run e.g.:
sudo -u www-data php occ app:list
from within your ownCloud installation folder.

Are you using external storage, if yes which one: local/smb/sftp/…

Are you using encryption: yes/no

Are you using an external user-backend, if yes which one: LDAP/ActiveDirectory/Webdav/…

LDAP configuration (delete this part if not used)

With access to your command line run e.g.:
sudo -u www-data php occ ldap:show-config
from within your ownCloud installation folder

Without access to your command line download the data/owncloud.db to your local
computer or access your SQL server remotely and run the select query:
SELECT * FROM `oc_appconfig` WHERE `appid` = 'user_ldap';

Eventually replace sensitive data as the name/IP-address of your LDAP server or groups.

I assume this will be fixed when you upgrade the activity app to the current version.

hi,
thanks for your update.
the file database.xml (in /var/www/owncloud/apps/activity/appinfo) has changed and the db schema also.
My goal is to upgrade application from 8.2.11 to 10.x.y (like indicated in the official Owncloud doc) but the activity app give me problem and I cannot upgrade only activity app…
Activity app is disabled but I cannot remove it.

Why? It’s a normal app that can be uninstalled. After a successful upgrade, you can install the current version of the app. This will perform all required migration steps.

I haven’t access to the market so how can I uninstall properly the activity app?
If I remove activity folder app from /var/www/owncloud/apps I can upgrade Owncloud vers10 but now I have problem with php version => I am redirect to a php page (either php7.4 or php7.3 - php5.6 not working with Owncloud 10)
Thanks,

Always check the Required Prerequisites before start any upgrading!

yes exactly but php5.6 , 7.3 and 7.4 are installed. I force using php5.6 for Owncloud 8.2.11.
But when I want upgrade Owncloud 8.2.11 to 10.x.y I force to use php version with update-alternatives --set php /usr/bin/php7.4 but not working in Owncloud 10 when I try to upgrade in removing /var/www/owncloud/apps/activity.

Do you know a solution to uninstall activity when I haven’t access to market?
Thanks,

Disable it in oc_appconfig, then remove the app folder.
