Ownership of files in shared folder

Hi there,

I have an ownCloud server running to collaborate with other ownCloud users on that server and share files. All our files are in shared folders which I created and then shared with the other ownCloud users. However any file that is created in these shared folders or a subfolder in there shows that the owner is me. I would like to see as file owner the person who last touched the file, or who created the file. Is there a way to configure this in ownCloud?

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create folder in ownCloud
  2. Share folder with other ownCloud server users
  3. Have other user create / upload file in shared folder

Expected behaviour

File author / editor shows up as owner

Actual behaviour

User who created the shared folder shows up as owner of any file in that shared folder
