PDF always opens on page 5 in the browser

Hi Forum,

I made a link to a shared PDF file according to the following pattern:

For some reason, that PDF always opens on page 5 in the ownCloud web viewer, and not on page 1 as expected (and as also explicitly specified in the file properties of the PDF file).

Hi David,

Have you tried with a different browser or an incognito tab? Perhaps your browser saved the page you had open at some point.

Thanks Erik, that worked!

Every browser actually seems to remember the page on which the document was last viewed.

It must be saved in the session or the cookie, because I can even just open it in a different Firefox Container and it opens back on page 1.
