My current unscrupulous hosting provider - Stable Host - advertised “Unlimited” hosting plan.
And they offer Owncloud through their control panel.
But soon after i set up Owncloud and started synching my personal files, photos etcetera - they said ‘verboten!’, and gave me 24 hours to remove it, or they would delete it themselves.

Are these services known, and recommended, for allowing Owncloud community to use the software on their services?
Which ones are reputable?
Closer to NYC / Eastern US preferably.
