The iOS app has a nice feature that it can preview MS Excel (xlsx) and MS Word (docx) files with a proprietary format inside the app. But to my surprise this feature does not support the open document format files (odt).
I believe that the app should support these formats to promote the use of it.

from what i have read in the past its often better to ask for new features directly in the github bugtrackers of ownCloud because such requests might get easily missed if posted in a user support forums like this.

We are using Apple libraries for those and sorry to report but those don’t exist for ODF. If you know libraries which could be integrated we will happily take the suggestion.
