Qnap and owncloud comunication

How can I see my qnap (TS-853 Pro) in owncloud?
I execute the owncloud x app in qnap. But in the opening owncloud session I can’t find a way to access to my qnap. I’ve already read this ownCloud on QNAP :: ownCloud Documentation but it didn’t work.

I’m using the version 10.0.10.1.
I will try to create an external storage on qnap.
Do you think that webDAV can be a good alternative to samba?
