Question About Owncloud Server 10

Hi,

Thank you very much for your product. I think it is very useful and well-made. I would like to ask for your suggestion regarding my setup.

I need to set up an ownCloud instance, not for enterprise purposes, but for sharing files with my friends. Recently, I installed Infinite Scale on Kubernetes using NFS as the storage solution.

Given that I don’t need scalability, I would like to ask:

Is ownCloud Server still supported?
Is this the current official image I can use: https://hub.docker.com/r/owncloud/server?
Is better to continue with Infinte Scale for helping the community in testing this solution?

There is no plan of further development on ownCloud 10, unless it’s critical. You can still install it and ask questions, but if there is some coding involved, the answer will very likely be “no”.

For fresh installations, ownCloud Infinite Scale is the way to go.

If you don’t need scalability because it’s a small installation, you can try the single binary with docker.
The docker image is https://hub.docker.com/r/owncloud/ocis , and you might need a reverse proxy such a traefik in front.
