Is it possible to reactivate a shared link whose expiration date has lapsed, i.e. to extend the expiration date after expiration – without changing the previously shared address of the link?

No. Currently on expiry a cronjob is removing the share from the filecache. There is no state “expired” - actually there are no states from the sharee = initiator side, only at the receiver side.
Typically we get more requests to remove the file as well, rather then beeing able to extend an expired share again after the fact.
