S3 option missing from dropdown box

Greetings,

I’m trying out ownCloud for the first time. I checked the box “Enable external storage”, and the dropdown box now offers ownCloud, SFTP, SMB/CIFS, and WebDav, but not S3 – it’s missing. I have read the docs, but I can’t find anything specific on enabling S3. Can anyone help?

I’m running ownCloud 10.3.2, fresh install on Debian 10.

The storages you are referring to are those which are bundled in the files_external app. S3 requires another app.

On the Marketplace there are:
https://marketplace.owncloud.com/apps/files_external_s3
https://marketplace.owncloud.com/apps/files_primary_s3

So you can choose the app that meets your requirements.
