Server falls apart when user moved to different LDAP OU

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a new AD user
  2. Login to owncloud and sync some data, share folders with that user, install desktop client
  3. Move user to a different OU
  4. Watch it suffer and die

Expected behaviour

The server should handle user migrations to different OU within the active directory as this is a common occurrence.

Actual behaviour

(Shared items become user's home items, a lot of duplication happen, server's space quickly fills up, file sync stops)

Server configuration

Operating system: ubuntu 16.04

Web server: apache from repo

Database: mysql

PHP version: distro stock

ownCloud version: (see ownCloud admin page) 10.0.4

Updated from an older ownCloud or fresh install: updated from older

Where did you install ownCloud from: official ubuntu repo

Signing status (ownCloud 9.0 and above):

A note to add. Most of the time, the second user is created with _XXXX added to his/her username where XXXX seems to be a random number.

Hi, can you post some screen shots of your LDAP configuration?
