Hi,
Is it possible to display the file count of a folder next to the folder in the files app?

Technically possible, but it’s unlikely to be implemented due to possible performance problems: for each folder you want to show the file count, you’ll need to scan that folder; if you have a folder with 500 folders inside you’ll likely notice the performance problem.
