Size of unzipped VHDX file?

Please help us by providing the following info. Before posting please also check the pinned "Known issues" threads and make sure that you're running the latest available version for your oC release: https://owncloud.org/changelog/

Steps to reproduce
Download the VHDX appliance image from the web link below:
https://download.owncloud.org/community/production/vm/Ubuntu_14.04-owncloud-9.1.5-1.1-201704201507.vhdx.zip

Expected behaviour
That I should be able to unpack the file so I can load it into our HYPERV server and start configuration.

Actual behaviour
It seems to indicate that I need nearly 800 Petabytes of disk space to extract it!!!!

So basically I don't understand why it needs so much physical disk space to extract into? Anyone that can assist I'd be most grateful.

For me the image size is 43 GB. Did you try a different extraction tool?
