Slow upload from mobile device

Hello,

I would like to ask you, where could be a problem with slow uploading speed via Android/iOS oC applications?
Right now, I am on 100/100 Mbit … trying to upload 1 GB video and after 45 mins, it shows only 20% done.

When I upload it via desktop app, it takes about 1-2 minutes. I have tried different apps like Cirrus, official ownCloud and Nextcloud with same slow upload speeds.

Any idea what should I reconfigure or should I set some parameters diferently on OC server?

Depending on your Wifi configuration and general setup, wireless speed can differ a lot. Did you try the 5 GHz band (IEEE 802.11ac)?

Hello, I figured out it is caused by Antivirus. I turned it off and it is uploading fast as usually. Any brotips how to speed up upload speeds with antivirus? Thanks :slight_smile:

You probably need to ask your antivirus supplier. Besides of the general doubt of AV solutions, perhaps you can restrict the files being scanned to those who could be dangerous on your mobile device.
