Hi, how can i Stop Owncloud from making sidebar shortcuts and changing folder icons? I dont want or need these things, thanks.
Which platform are you on? Windows Mac or Linux?
I don’t use Windows, but I’m assuming you are:
- Folder icons: don’t think that behavior is changeable
- Sidebar shortcut: Have you tried just deleting it?
Perhaps @TheOneRing knows more?

It should be possible to disable the sidebar icon
This will have no effect if the Windows vfs feature is used.
