Strange behavior for files they have not been edited

Steps to reproduce

  1. Somtimes it happens and Users recognizes it. In the Activivty app.

Expected behaviour

Nothing should happen

Actual behaviour

This morning, there was another strange behavior of the ownCloud.
An User allegedly changed files of the migration team.
I have already spoken to him. He has not actively made these changes. His PC was at his place at that time and the User was not active in the ownCloud either.

No errors have been found.```

I would suspect you have a valid ownCloud subscription then, if yes please send an email to support@owncloud.com

Otherwise, we need clear steps here how we would be able to reproduce your error, this is not clear for me in the description you have given.

Which troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?

  • Has the file actually been edited?
  • OR: Is it just showing a notification?
  • What is the exact notification message?
  • If the file has been edited, at what time was that the case?
  • Have you checked the logs (apache & owncloud) during the time of alleged access/edit?
