I’m looking for a technique to just push my files/directory to the cloud but not to download it. If some one change something on the cloud I don’t want to lost all my work.
Is there a way to do this ?

There is no such possibility included in ownCloud (oC server, android/ios apps, desktop sync client). ownCloud is all about file syncing and keeping server and clients in sync.
However you could do some research on your own on the net if there are 3rdparty WebDAV-Clients which are providing such a functionality.
You should do backups anyway as ownCloud is no backup solution:
I’ve already wrote about it before - this is a great feature and it would be great to have it in owncloud.
I’m glad I’m not the only one that needs this.
