changed the theme name in config file but it is not working. old theme remains there

Config file theme name and folder name for the theme must be identical.

okay, so when i change in config, which folder do i need to rename ?

You have to set the <id>NameOfTheThemeFolder</id> inside https://github.com/owncloud/theme-example/blob/47256af46ae97a3441e65ebf4c9e9d391429dac4/appinfo/info.xml#L3 for example.

Please set the id to the name of the folder of the theme.

hey cant find any folder theme-example/appinfo and nor file info.xml
