Unable to Share Folder to User and Groups

When I attempt to share a folder with another individual on the server, I'll click on the share icon.
When the window opens up, I start typing the persons username and it pops up. I select the user name and the icon continues to to rotate as if it's processing something. Nothing happens. It's suppose to show that the folder has been shared.

But it doesn't.

An Icon that keeps animating. Never sharing the folder.

is the user in your database or in an LDAP?

Hi.

The user is in the same datatbase. I created them from the admin's end.
