Update faild univention server from 10.0.1 to 10.1.1

Steps to reproduce

  1. Running Univention server version UCS 4.3-1
  2. Install the app Owncloud (older version like 10.0.1)
  3. Click on update button on the univention webUI to update from 10.0.1 to 10.1.1.

Expected behaviour

Update should be installed. And the service should be running at the maintenance port 8080. The app link on the Univention webUI page is pointing to https://IPaddress:8080/owncloud

Actual behaviour

The serverice is not running at all.

Server configuration

Operating system:
Univention server UCS 4.3-1 running on a VMware esxi server

Web server:
?
Database:
?
PHP version:
?
ownCloud version: (see ownCloud admin page)
From 10.0.1 to 10.1.1

Updated from an older ownCloud or fresh install:
Was updating from 10.0.1 to 10.1.1

Where did you install ownCloud from:
Univention webUI app center

Signing status (ownCloud 9.0 and above):

I can login on the command line of the Univention server.
The docker container still exist for the owncloud install. Only gives status exited

When I start the docker manual with the command:
docker start “container id” -a
I get a error fail to connect to database
Access denied for user ‘owncloud’@‘172.17.0.1’

The container is still loading till line #28 {main} appear and then the command line appear.
The status the of the container is exited (1) 5 seconds ago

I have forgot to make a snapshot before I did the upgrade. So I could not restore to a point before the upgrade.

Can I repair this installation/upgrade?
Or is it possible of better to move the files to a fresh server?

Thanks,
Mark

Before every upgrade a backup is made of the database and the configs.

Can you make a snapshot now, remove the current app, install the new app, and restore your configs and db/data in the new app?

Where is the best place to remove and install the app. WebUI or command line?

command line since it gives you more output
