Upgrade from 8.1.9 to 8.2.7

Expected behaviour
Upgrade OK

Actual behaviour
When we try to upgrade from 8.1.9 to 8.2.7 the ./occ upgrade command shows:
Exception: Updates between multiple major versions are unsupported.

We tried the upgrade copy/paste owncloud folder and same error.

Server configuration
Operating system: Debian 7
Web server: apache
Database: mysql
PHP version: php 5.4.36
ownCloud version (see ownCloud admin page): 8.1.9
Updated from an older ownCloud or fresh install:

paste the results here.

Hi,

this means:

  1. You're in the wrong directory and trying to upgrade an old version of ownCloud (parallel installation like 8.0.4) to 8.2.7
  2. Your previous version of ownCloud wasn't 8.1.9
